To make, via command prompt (cmd.exe), a shortcut to a folder, to a document or program file. Useful when the target file/folder is hidden, then not easy for any link you want to create.
For example, in order to create a shortcut of the Windows Mail program on the user desktop, you can do:
shortcut "%userprofile%\Desktop\Windows Mail" "%programfiles%\Windows Mail\WinMail.exe"
